WHAT A WEEK!!

Are we back to Sunday musings in this crazy east coast heat?

This has been a week to be remembered for always. Not just for the heat! My book, Beyond The Technique: an exploration of artistry & authenticity is out in the world!

How do I feel? Surreal is the word that comes to mind at the moment. That, and such a depth of gratitude and love for all of you who are purchasing it, reading it, messaging me with your “ah-ha” moments and supporting this journey.

The book released on June 20th, which this year, 2024, was the magic of Summer Solstice. What I hadn’t originally realized when I chose that, was that June 20th, 2011 (which was NOT Summer Solstice), Thomas & I were in that near-fatal car accident. Full body goosebumps at the deep, universal connection and significance of this day.

And so, instead of being in hours of surgery at Morristown Trauma, June 20th, 2024 was the karmic shift of my life. (okay, okay, I know that’s a little woo-woo but if you know me, you KNOW!)

I spent happy hour with many of the singers that call SEY Voice their “voice home” - in person and via Zoom/Facetime, texts and calls, as well as friends and family. So much love and thanks for my daughter, Erin, who organized and was the ONLY hostess for the evening, and to Oscar Wilde NYC for their care and accomodation! We definitely will be back, and if you haven’t experienced Oscar Wilde, you truly need to! And the food & drink are great!

As of today, the book, because of YOU, has reached #1 in New Releases in Performing Arts on Amazon. It is on the Top 25 Books To Read This Summer on BroadwayWorld. And, I am continuing to sign and send out copies from the website and am waiting on a new shipment since you sold that out!!

I am beyond words…(see what I did there?!).

Seriously. I am simply stunned and filled with so much joy and thankfulness for each of you. You have taught me. You have INSPIRED me. You are simply why I continue to do what I do.

I am eternally grateful.
