Release!

Fall is my favorite season. To me, it’s a time of renewal.

This year, as theatre begins to re-emerge there is a re-newed excitement of possibility.

It is also a time to release, and dare I say, purge.

As we allow the fall season to move in, what are we willing to release?

As we step into the next, what are we willing to change for OUR next?

What are your “negotiables” and what are your “non-negotiables”?

Getting clear on that allows you to release what doesn’t serve you, what is holding you back, what is getting in your way, what is simply not needed anymore, what is old paradigm.

No matter how much certain people or institutions would like the old paradigm to remain business as usual, it is not. Will we cave to the old paradigm or release it?

Will we succumb to our old patterns of thought or release them?

Will we sleep walk back into old and unserving behaviors or wake up and do the work and change?

Where do you find yourself falling back into behaviors that are not serving you?

What can you release?

Start gently. Start with self-grace.

When we know better, we DO better.

These releases could be anything from clearing out repertoire to establishing firm boundaries to releasing conversations that continue to take up real estate in your head!

Don’t feel everything released needs to be replaced. Sometimes the space to breathe creates the necessary perspective!

And releasing doesn’t have to happen all at once. As you can and are able; as needed; as required.

Giving these actions a name will allow us all to create a place for them and meet them where they are.

Take a breath and create this possibility for yourself during this season.

Know you are not alone. We can celebrate RELEASE!
