Studio Policies

Expectations & Limitations

The client can expect SEY Voice LLC to:

  • create a course of study that is uniquely designed to address the client's vocal & artistic abilities. This includes, but is not limited to, the building of vocal technique & technical behavior.

  • address & develop necessary stylistic technique as it pertains to repertoire preparation.

  • address & develop the vocal demands and practice in repertoire development.

  • aid in role development & preparation of a role, as required.

  • aid in audition preparation, as required.

  • aid in performance preparation, as required.

  • aid in ongoing vocal health awareness.

  • aid in career consultation, as required.

  • recommend resources as needed & not limited to, voice coaches, acting classes, dance classes, laryngologists, speech pathologists, psychologists, physical & manual therapists.

  • provide a safe & confidential space to explore the voice in a collaborative manner. This includes no touch during sessions, or touch with verbal consent, only for physical demonstration as it pertains to laryngeal release, or breath & support work.

  • Develop with the client, HOW to practice, as required.

SEY Voice LLC is not, nor acts as an agent, manager, or casting director, but can make suggestions for the client to follow up on.
Study with SEY Voice LLC does not and cannot offer nor guarantee a career.

  • SEY Voice LLC does not clinically diagnose vocal issues but will offer suggestions and specialists for the client to contact, in order to make a professional medical diagnosis.

  • SEY Voice LLC will work closely with said clinician & client, to ensure the client receives the best rehabilitation.

  • SEY Voice LLC is not a manual therapist but will offer suggestions and specialists for the client to contact, in order to address any physical issues that the client is dealing with that might impede a full access to, but not limited to, breath, support, balance.

  • SEY Voice LLC is not responsible for the vocal health of a client away from the studio.

  • SEY Voice LLC is not responsible for the practice habits, and the vocal development of the client away from the studio.

The client takes full responsibility for his/her/their own daily habits of practice and vocal health away from the studio.
The client takes responsibility and is encouraged to contact SEY Voice LLC via email/text between sessions if there are questions, concerns, or discoveries, for the client’s practice and development to continue in a collaborative manner.

No Obligation

  • Each party has the authority to enter into this Agreement and to perform all of its obligations under this Agreement.

  • The client is under NO OBLIGATION to continue, beyond the current session booked.

  • The client books as needed and as able.

SEY Voice LLC is under no obligation to continue 1:1 work due to scheduling or personal conflicts and will always have further resources for the client to explore, should it become necessary to terminate the work.

Payment Methods

  • Payment will be made to SEY Voice LLC via Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, Paypal, Credit Card, Bank Transfer, or by any other payment method determined by the Business. Cash and check will be available for in person sessions.

  • Credit Card payments will also include a 3% service fee.

  • Payment is due the DAY OF each session PRIOR to the session/at the beginning of the session.

  • The client will be sent a receipt electronically for their records.

Invoices

  • SEY Voice LLC will invoice the Client if the session is ONLINE & payment is with credit card or bank transfer.

  • The Client agrees to pay invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified.

  • Unpaid or overdue invoices may result in late fees.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • There is a standard 24-hour cancellation policy for all 1:1 sessions in person AND virtually. If session is cancelled within 24 hours of session, a 50% cancellation fee is required.

  • There are no refunds for late arrival or late cancellation, or no shows, either in person or virtually.

  • There are no refunds on services.

Recording of Sessions

  • Clients are welcome and encouraged to record their sessions for their own use ONLY.

  • Clients agree to keep these recordings for their personal use and practice only and are not to be shared publicly.

Covid-19 Vaccination Status

As of this writing, all in person sessions must follow a full vaccination status without exception.
