I've had the privilege of training with Susan for over ten years... and I wish I had found her even sooner! Susan is a compassionate, astute, intuitive, masterful teacher with the rare ability to adjust every detail of her work to suit each individual student. Her warmup exercises are tailor-made for each singer's unique instrument, and her crystal-clear communication skills make technique development seem a cinch. My time with Susan in the studio is always energized, joyous, and full of revelation. I arrived as a hesitant soprano with no power in my lower register. Within six months, I was belting and mixing comfortably and healthfully. In my first year as a professional actor and singer, I was terrified of musical theatre auditions; the technical tools that Susan provided, and the confidence she instilled in me, allowed me to surmount my fears and begin to succeed.
