Working with Susan has not only been very productive; it has been inspiring. I like Susan's patient and kind way going about things. She is very dedicated and fun to work with. What I love most is that she realizes that every voice behaves a different way on different days. Unlike most other teachers, Susan pulls out different exercises each time, warming your voice up accordingly. Also, when I tell her about my different needs for different shows and concerts I have to sing, Susan has just the right exercise for your particular need. In each singing lesson, she offers different exercises which I like a lot. One cannot fall into the trap of 'knowing what comes next' which I think is very important. Bottom line: Susan knows her stuff and she understands singers. She is also able to accompany you perfectly on the piano which most other teachers are not able to do. Working with Susan has been a spectacular experience and continues to do so. My voice has become a lot stronger and more open since I have worked with Susan. It is very clear and with small tricks I never fail to hit the right note (high or low) which I learned from working with Susan. I have several concerts a month, traveling all over the world. Things you have to do to keep fit seem common sense and mean different things to different people. But I have my 'recorded Susan exercises' with me at all times, warming up with them before each concert. I call this my personal vocal maintenance.
