What is the idea of YOU?

We are all doing a step, ball, pivot, change.

We don’t know what direction, what will open up, where it will lead us.

What we can know, or begin to know, is who we are: as human beings & artists, and how we want to live as that artistic human being.

We don’t need to know WHERE that is, but we can begin to commit or re-commit to the idea of WHO that is.

Give permission for the WHO to emerge.

Give permission to commit to the well-being of that human being and that artist.

What ideas emerge in that commitment?

What commitment emerges as the idea becomes clearer?

The idea of you is enough. Now and always.

Where that idea emerges and begins to take root can change; can transplant; can re-focus;

The commitment to the idea of you is constant. The idea can morph and stay fluid.

Trust wherever you are. Why? Because you are there. YOU are there.

What does that evoke? What does it determine? Movement? Stillness? Centering? Inner work? Outer work?

What if that idea stays fluid from day to day? What if you can be okay with that and let it lead you? What if that idea knows you are committed and can reveal TO you what it needs from you?

These are the questions, the what-ifs, the possibilities, the desire I have during this time.

I know commitment.

I have had many ideas of me and have committed to them.

This is a new time, a new normal, and and a new opportunity to get to know me again, and perhaps, to create a new or renew a idea of me.

I commit to that: To the idea of me and what that leads from, what that leads to, what that reveals and what that determines. It’s messy, it’s strange, it’s unsure, but it’s possible. I am possible.

YOU are possible if you choose to commit, not to the outcome, simply to the IDEA.

May you find a solace there, and perhaps a renewed excitement of possibility within yourself - just because YOU are enough.

With fondness & fierceness,

Susan
