It’s truly a Sunday Musings type of day…

(it is Sunday, right?)

The Abraham Hicks quote: “ Your choices of action may be limited - but your choices of thought are not” seems more poignant than ever right now.

My Dad used to say to us “You have a strong MIND. You have resilient SPIRIT. Use that.”

And so, today on a dreary and rainy Sunday, I muse on both these ideas.

It brings me to the action of CHOICE, within any limitation that might be there, currently, in the past and possibly in the future.

Are our thoughts limited? Does “limit” have to be a negative thing?

My thoughts say no. (see what I did there?)

Our thoughts are not limited. This is the double edged sword. We can let them go too far and create anxiety that is not needed nor helpful. We can ignore them. We can dismiss them. We can contain them. We can focus them. We can ruminate with them. We can discover them. We can create with them.

There is no limit. There is only choice. OUR choice.

And given that our actions are limited - especially right now - this is the choice we can have.

The choice to expand the strength of our minds, of our imaginations, of our spirits, and of our thoughts. The choice TO think. The choice to discover and create possibilities that have permission to simply be present without the pressure of “what do I do with that now?” or “how do I put that into action?”

The answer is simply: not yet.

Not yet.

Not yet.

What happens when something is allowed to simmer and gestate?

What happens when it is then allowed to move into action?

Possibility exists before action.

Just not yet.

So, think, ponder, imagine. Read, write, discover. CHOOSE thought with your own mind, your own creative soul, and spirit.

That’s enough. That’s more than enough.

With fondness & fierceness,

Susan
